Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or using a double boiler.

Spread the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet.

Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave or using a double boiler.

Stir in the peppermint extract.

Pour the white chocolate mixture over the chilled dark chocolate layer.

Crush the candy canes and sprinkle them over the white chocolate layer.

Return the baking sheet to the refrigerator and let it set for at least 1 hour.
