Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into 12 equal squares.

In a mixing bowl, combine the canned pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and salt. Mix well.

Place a spoonful of the pumpkin mixture onto each puff pastry square.

Fold the corners of the pastry squares towards the center, sealing the pumpkin mixture inside.

Brush the beaten egg over the top of each puff.
