  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, softened unsalted butter, and softened cream cheese. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and press each portion into the cups of a mini muffin tin, forming a tart shell.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, light brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and salt.
  5. Spoon the pecan mixture into each tart shell.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tassies are golden brown and set.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes.
  8. Carefully remove the tassies from the muffin tin and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
