Pecan Tarts

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a food processor, pulse the pecans until finely ground.

In a large bowl, combine the ground pecans, all-purpose flour, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until the dough comes together.

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and press each portion into the bottom and sides of a tart pan.

Bake the tart shells in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let the tart shells cool completely.

Once cooled, fill each tart shell with your desired filling and serve.
