Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).

In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan.

In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well after each addition.

Stir in chopped pecans. Pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan.

Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the cheesecake. Remove the sides of the springform pan and let the cheesecake cool completely.

Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Before serving, spread praline topping over the cheesecake and garnish with whipped cream.
