  6. Meanwhile, peel and slice the pears.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the crust is golden and the pears are tender.
  10. In a small saucepan, heat the apricot jam until melted.
  11. Brush the melted jam over the tart for a shiny glaze.
