Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Spread 2/3 of the batter into the prepared baking dish. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter and chocolate chips on top of the batter. Use a knife to swirl the peanut butter and chocolate chips into the batter.

Drop spoonfuls of the remaining batter on top of the peanut butter and chocolate chip mixture. Use a knife to swirl the top layer of batter.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bars to cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
