  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the peanut butter, butter, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Press two-thirds of the dough into the prepared baking dish. Spread the pomegranate jelly evenly over the dough.
  6. Crumble the remaining dough over the top of the jelly and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
