Peanut Butter Cup Brownies
Peanut butter cups were invented by H.B. Reese in the 1920s and have since become a popular addition to many desserts, including brownies.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 75 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan. Place the peanut butter cups evenly on top of the batter. Pour the remaining batter over the peanut butter cups.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
