Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.

In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, cornstarch, and rose syrup. Mix well.

Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.

Roll out the second pie crust and cut it into thin strips.

Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie by weaving the strips over and under each other.

Trim and seal the edges of the pie crust.

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Brush the mixture over the lattice crust.
