Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese, unsalted butter, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined.

Crush 12 Oreo cookies and fold them into the cookie dough.

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto a lined baking sheet.

Press an Oreo cookie onto the top of each portion of dough.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
