  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces.

  9. Cover the dish with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  11. Bake the brioche for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  12. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack.
  13. Serve warm or at room temperature.
