  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter. Add the remaining batter on top and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.
