  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and finely chop the onions.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the caramelized onions, all-purpose flour, grated parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme leaves. Mix well.
  5. Add the remaining butter and mix until the dough comes together.
