  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the bread into small cubes and spread them out on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until they are lightly browned.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, celery, parsley, sage, and thyme. Cook until the vegetables are soft and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes and vegetable mixture. Stir in the broth until the bread is moistened. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the top is crisp and golden.
  7. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
