In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, cream cheese, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
