  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
  6. Add water and cover the pan. Let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the lid and cook for another 5 minutes to thicken the gravy.
  8. Serve hot with rice or roti.
