  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a financier mold.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden brown and smells nutty. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, powdered sugar, all-purpose flour, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg whites, stirring until well combined.
  5. Slowly pour in the melted butter and vanilla extract, stirring until the batter is smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared mold and sprinkle the sliced almonds on top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the financiers are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the financiers cool in the mold for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
