Peel and grate the potatoes. Squeeze out any excess moisture.

Finely chop the onion.

In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, chopped onion, egg, all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Take a handful of the potato mixture and shape it into a pancake. Place it in the hot oil.
