Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with it.

Peel, core, and slice the apples.

In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, flour, and cinnamon.

Add the apples and lemon juice to the bowl and mix until coated.

Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.

Dot the top of the apples with butter.

Cover the pie with the remaining pie crust.

Crimp the edges of the pie crust to seal.
