  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
