Pavlova is a dessert named after the Russian ballet dancer Anna Pavlova. It is said to have been created in honor of her visit to Australia and New Zealand in the 1920s.

  1. Preheat the oven to 120°C (250°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a clean mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the caster sugar while continuing to beat until the mixture is thick and glossy.
  4. Sift in the cornstarch and add the white vinegar. Gently fold them into the meringue mixture.
  5. Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small nests.
  6. Bake for 90 minutes, then turn off the oven and let the pavlovas cool completely inside.
  7. Once cooled, carefully remove the pavlovas from the parchment paper.
  8. Fill each pavlova with whipped cream and top with fresh fruits.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
