Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease 4 ramekins with butter and dust them with sugar.

Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, all-purpose flour, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring continuously.

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the soufflés have risen and are set around the edges but still slightly jiggly in the center.
