Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl.

Spoon about a teaspoon of melted chocolate into each mini chocolate cup, spreading it evenly on the bottom and up the sides.

Place the chocolate cups in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to set.

In a separate bowl, mix together the smooth peanut butter, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.

Remove the chocolate cups from the refrigerator and spoon the peanut butter mousse mixture into each cup, filling them almost to the top.

Sprinkle crushed peanuts on top of each cup.

Place the cups back in the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 2 hours to set.
