  2. Divide the dough into walnut-sized balls.
  3. Flatten each ball in your palm, then place a small amount of date paste in the center.
  4. Fold the dough over the date paste, sealing it completely.
  5. Place the filled cookies on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
  7. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar and sprinkle with finely chopped pistachios.
