Margarita Cupcakes
Margarita cupcakes are inspired by the popular cocktail, the Margarita. The combination of lime, tequila, and a sweet glaze makes these cupcakes a unique and delicious treat.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the lime zest, lime juice, and tequila.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and lime juice until smooth. If desired, add green food coloring for a vibrant color.

Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, drizzle the lime glaze over the top of each cupcake.

Allow the glaze to set for about 30 minutes before serving.
