Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into circles using a cookie cutter.

Melt the dark chocolate and white chocolate separately in two bowls.

In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.

Divide the butter mixture into two equal parts. Mix one part with the melted dark chocolate and the other part with the melted white chocolate.

Spoon the dark chocolate mixture onto half of the puff pastry circles and the white chocolate mixture onto the other half.

Use a toothpick or a skewer to swirl the two mixtures together to create a marbled effect.

Place the marbled tarts on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
