Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise.

In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper.

Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the garlic butter.

Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
