Light and Airy Strawberry Cupcakes
Strawberries are not actually berries, but rather an aggregate fruit!
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 50 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cupcake pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

Gently fold in the pureed strawberries.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake cups.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and whipped cream until smooth.

Frost the cooled cupcakes with the whipped cream mixture.
