Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and powdered sugar.

Gradually add in flour and salt, mixing until combined.

Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake for 20 minutes.

In another bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and baking powder.

Pour the mixture over the baked crust.

Bake for an additional 25 minutes.

Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for 1 hour.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
