Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the vanilla extract and mix well.

Gradually add the all-purpose flour and mix until well combined.

Drop teaspoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

Flatten the dough with the back of a spoon and sprinkle sliced almonds and dried cranberries on top.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.

Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
