  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir in the pumpkin puree.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and orange food coloring until smooth.
  9. Once the cake has cooled, spread the orange cream cheese frosting over the top and sides of the cake.
  10. Use the black decorating gel to create a jack-o'-lantern face on the cake.
  11. Place the cake in the refrigerator to set for at least 1 hour before serving.
