Indian Noodle Payasam

Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashews and raisins until golden. Set aside.

In the same pan, roast vermicelli noodles until golden brown.

In a separate pot, bring milk to a boil.

Add roasted vermicelli noodles to the boiling milk and cook until noodles are soft.

Add sugar, cardamom powder, saffron strands, and fried cashews and raisins to the pot.

Simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Serve hot or chilled.
