Homemade Pop Tarts
Pop Tarts were introduced by Kellogg’s in 1964 and have since become a popular breakfast pastry in the United States.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 45 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 4.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the pie crust dough on a lightly floured surface.

Cut the dough into rectangles of desired size.

Spread a tablespoon of fruit jam on half of the rectangles.

Place the remaining rectangles on top of the jam-covered ones and press the edges together to seal.

Use a fork to create a decorative pattern around the edges.

Place the pop tarts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow the pop tarts to cool completely.

In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze.

Drizzle the glaze over the cooled pop tarts.
