  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  8. Use heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut out cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
