Healthy Macaroni and Cheese
Macaroni and cheese originated in Italy and was brought to the United States by Thomas Jefferson, who served it at a state dinner in 1802.

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Steam the cauliflower until tender. Blend until smooth.

In a saucepan, heat the milk over low heat. Add the cheddar cheese and stir until melted.

Add the cauliflower puree, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the saucepan. Stir until well combined.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a separate bowl, combine the bread crumbs and olive oil.

In a baking dish, mix the cooked macaroni and cheese sauce. Top with the bread crumb mixture.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy.

Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
