Ingredients
Instructions
-
Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
-
Place green chiles on the grill and cook until charred, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from heat and let cool. Remove the skin, seeds, and stems, then chop the chiles.
-
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
-
Shape the beef mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
-
Grill the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
-
While the patties are cooking, prepare the tomatillo lime sauce. In a blender, combine tomatillos, lime juice, cilantro, mayonnaise, and salt. Blend until smooth.
-
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Toast the slider buns until lightly golden.
-
Assemble the sliders by placing a cooked patty on each bun, then topping with the chopped green chiles and a spoonful of the tomatillo lime sauce.
-
Serve the sliders warm and enjoy!
