  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the French fried onions on top.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the onions are golden brown.
  7. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
