Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x9-inch baking dish.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, beat together the remaining 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest until well combined. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until smooth.

Pour the lemon mixture over the graham cracker crust in the baking dish.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 1 hour.

Dust the bars with powdered sugar before serving.
