Grad Cupcakes
Cupcakes have been around since the 19th century and were originally baked in teacups.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 40 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.

In a separate bowl, prepare the buttercream frosting. Add food coloring if desired.

Frost the cooled cupcakes using a piping bag or spatula.
