Raisins were discovered by accident when grapes were left to dry on the vine.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 55 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

Stir in the golden raisins and chopped walnuts.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
