Gluten Free Danish
The Danish pastry is believed to have been brought to Denmark by Austrian bakers in the 19th century.
This is vegetarian and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 70 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten free flour, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the almond milk. Mix until just combined.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.

Cut the dough into rectangles and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spoon a dollop of jam onto each rectangle.

Fold the corners of the dough over the jam, forming a triangle shape.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Allow the danishes to cool for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
