Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and molasses, and mix until smooth.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the bars to cool in the pan for 30 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and water to make a glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars.
