  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and instant coffee.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  6. To make the streusel topping, combine the flour, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the batter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. To make the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar and brewed coffee until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
