French Apple Cake
French Apple Cake, also known as Tarte Tatin, is a classic French dessert that originated in the 19th century. It was created by accident when the Tatin sisters, who ran a hotel in France, accidentally left apples cooking in sugar and butter for too long. They decided to cover the apples with pastry and bake it, resulting in a delicious upside-down apple cake.
