Fragrant Paneer Rice
Paneer is a popular ingredient in Indian cuisine and is often referred to as Indian cottage cheese. It is made by curdling milk with a food acid, such as lemon juice or vinegar.
This is vegetarian, gluten free and high protein recipe. Dish can be prepared in 45 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chilies. Sauté for a minute.

Add turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

Add diced paneer and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan. Mix well.

Add water and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
