Faux BBQ Baby Back Ribs
Seitan, made from wheat gluten, is a popular meat substitute in vegetarian and vegan cooking.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Cut the seitan into rib-shaped pieces and place them in a baking dish.

Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the seitan ribs, making sure they are evenly coated.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and brush the seitan ribs with vegetable oil.

Place the ribs on a preheated grill and cook for 5-10 minutes on each side, until they are slightly charred.

Remove from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Serve hot with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
