Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut off the tops of the tomatoes and scoop out the seeds and pulp.

Crack an egg into each tomato and season with salt and pepper.

Place the tomatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the egg whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
