  2. In a saucepan, heat milk, unsalted butter, and salt over low heat until the butter melts. Remove from heat.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and the milk mixture.
  4. Add the yeast mixture and gradually stir in flour until a soft dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
