Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a square baking pan.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed chocolate chip cookies.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
